Why the dust bag is not in the worn weight
The dust bag ships with the bag and stays home when you travel. We list it because it is included and it protects the shearling in storage, but it is not part of what you carry through the airport. Counting it would inflate the worn weight by 30 g we do not actually carry.

It is the weight of a personal item you keep on your person for an entire journey — through security, down the aisle, on your lap. At 640 g it is never the heavy thing. The contents are; you chose those.
